In respect of inland waterway transport where Beaufort may act in capacity of (‘paper’) carrier, i)specific (mandatory) law applies and/or applicability of a set of standard conditions known in the trade is agreed upon on a case by case basis and ii)the DFC still apply, be it additionally in the sense that they cover certain subject which are not already covered by law/conditions referred to under i).
